In September, 1962, I accepted an Acacia pledge pin from an alumnus named Bill Schmitt '61. Seven years later, shortly after my return from the Air Force, I reconnected with my Acacia brothers, including Bill. He was the Education Director at a 5-year-old educational facility named - COSI (Center Of Science & Industry.) "Moonbeam" wrote: "My nickname while going through initiation in 1963, and I believe my pledge name as well, was Moonbeam, conferred on me by brother Ross Petteruti '65, if I remember correctly. There’s plenty you can do to get together with your brothers. If you are in the Columbus area, some of us have carried on a tradition for nigh on to twenty years. There is a Tee Jaye’s Country Place restaurant at the corner of Morse Road and High Street. That is about four miles north of Lane Avenue, or about two miles south of downtown Worthington. It is about a mile west of the Morse Road exit from I-71. Several of us have breakfast the first Saturday morning of each month, at 9:00. We’d love to have you join us.
